The Young 5’s class had a wonderful time at Blandford Nature Center learning how to make maple syrup. Such hands-on learning as they each got to tap a tree for maple sap. Sitting in a Native American wigwam, they tasted maple sugar and then they watched them boil the sap down to syrup.

The 4’s and Young 5’s classes went to R Athletics to exercise their bodies. They had so much fun jumping, swinging, climbing, hanging, and crawling. Did you know exercising your body is good for your mind too?
When the 4’s and 5’s classes learned about Fairy Tales, they not only read them but they also got to act them out! I think we have future actors and actresses in our classes! Can you figure out which fairy tales we were bringing to life?
During our study of the fine arts, the Morning 4’s and the Young 5’s went to the Grand Rapids Art Museum. They got to view a lot of incredible artwork and then got to create some of their own. Maybe one day one of our students will have artwork displayed there!
The Great Start Readiness 4’s class had a great time on their field trip to the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum. There were so many things to explore. Here’s pictures of just a few of the favorites.
